While working on a case Laura encountered a mysterious handsome thief, that man accidentally heard Remington Steele is just fictional so he assume Steele's persona and use Remington's alias to escape from persons chasing him. The man proved his skills are useful as an investigator with his extreme charm, suave and charismatic manner that impressed clients, they become a good partners in business and romance.
