Carol Burnett show has been a very popular comedy show since late in 1967. It was a sketch comedy show. It served the fun loving people pure entertainments aside. In other hands it arose some questions against the social rules. Such a show is never expected to run for a long time. But this show was completely different from others. In this show she had introduced herself in various characters and performed with substantial prospect. The show was a CBS network presentation started in the year 1967. It was nothing but underestimated show which attained an enormous success.

Carol debuted with a very minor role in a series of TV shows while in New York. Then she joined Broadway and succeeded. When she moved to Los Angeles she found her luck to chuckle in. She was selected as a host of a TV show. Her lively presentations and unique concepts made the program very popular in those days. But it was not only her. Some actors with sheer talent accompanied her to the success. It went for eleven long years. It attained many awards and much more nominations in several categories. Carol Burnett herself owned the Golden Globe award for five times.

In this show, the liveliest part was the live communication with the audience. The parodies of the popular movies also made the show quite enjoyable. But a star attraction of the show was the skits towards the corresponding events running by then. The show had it end nearly thirty years ago but the craze is intact till today.
