Carol Burnett, Tim Conway, Harvey Koreman, Vicki Lawerece and Lyle Wagner are all beads of a common thread. This troupe of individuals have entertained us once a week with their classy comedy skits for eleven years from 1967 through 1978. One could get a hint of the expertise of this team with satirical parodies that left one with bouts of gay laughter. Burnett has been one of the best gag comedians there are. Harvey Koreman and Time Conway were an unmatcheable team which left you with fits of laughter. The skit that satired Gone with the Wind, 'Went with the Wind' brought this fact to light.

American actress Carol Creighton Burnett (born April 26, 1933) began her career in New York, and became a hit on Broadway. Her debut on television followed. She came to be known after appearances on The Garry Moore Show. Carol Burnett then left for Los Angeles where she started off with a show that would run for another eleven years from the studios of CBS. The Carol Burnett Show, which was a combination of song, dance, comedy and sketches was aired on CBS television for 11 years since 1967. Burnett concocted and played parodies of several well known characters.

Back in the 1970s, with no instant form of social networking (unlike nowadays, when we live in a world of Twitter, Squiddo and Facebook) Carol Burnett would still open the show each week intereacting with the audience. She would open the show by talking to the audience talking to as many as possible. Each show aired would be accompanied with cheerful mirth. It would be fun to try think about all those acts that made us laugh whenver we watched Carol Burnett's shows.

With her variety show, Carol Burnett has done something that all of us would greatly appreciate. She has created memories that shall remain unfaded with time. That truly, is a gift in itself. Memories can be compared to security blankers. The individual who owns the blankets appreciates all the comfort that their personalized blanker brings them over the years, and that's what Carol Burnett's show does to the audience. It has left us with memories to chew anywhere, antime at will.
