Carol Burnett has had a very extensive career in the show business. Her most recent work has been her role in the reunion show that was put together by CBS in 2002. This show comprised of the five cast members, the late Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence, Carol Burnett, Lyle Waggoner and Tim Conway. Harvey Korman has since past away and will be forever remembered for his impact on the American show business from the 60's to the 90's. The reunion show was held in 2002 and was a 60 minute television special highlighting all of the greatest moments from the Carol Burnett Show. The Carol Burnett show was a sketch comedy show that began in 1967 and continued with great success for almost 12 years. This made the highly demanded reunion show a successful venture for CBS. The success of the show has lead to the release of the show onto DVD for fans to watch over and over again. The DVD contains many extras that give viewers more value for their money. The reunion show consisted of the five cast members sharing their favorite moments throughout the 12 years recording. Many of the most memorable moments are shown and then the cast members give out little bits of trivia about the scenes. They also give the audience insight into how certain scenes were created and where the idea for the sketches came from. The Show Stoppers DVD contains extras such as extra commentary, behind the scenes footage and also background information on how the show came about. This is last time the original cast members were ever together in one place. Several years later in the year 2008 Harvey Korman passed away, leaving several children and wife. The one disc DVD is still available from many retailers and due to the high number of sales there has been suspicion of a third and final reunion show created by CBS. Harvey Korman having passed away will not be present but the reunion show will pay homage to his best moments and the rest of the cast member's work throughout the shows 12 year career.
